Hamsa Nandini, a well-known telugu actress, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy. To announce that she had completed 16 cycles of chemotherapy, the actress took to social media and released a few photos showing off her shaven head. hamsa nandini posted a few photos from her hospital bed, expressing her joy at finishing 16 cycles of chemotherapy. 


"Annnd.... am done with 16 cycles of chemotherapy!!!" she said in another note. I can now call myself a chemo survivor. But I'm not through yet; I haven't won. It's time to get ready for the upcoming war... It's time to have the operations." BRCA1 was found to be positive in the actress. Hamsa talked about her battle with cancer and her anxieties about it after losing her mother to the disease. 

The actress announced she had been diagnosed with cancer in late december 2021 with a photo of herself with a shaved head and a note that said, "I have made myself a few promises:- I will NOT allow this disease define my life and that I will fight it with a smile and win." I'll be better and stronger when I return to the screen. Poonam was her real surname, and she used it in her first few movies, but director Vamsy renamed her hamsa nandini since there were far too many people named Poonam in the profession.
