The distribution of Agent Nizam by akhil akkineni was quite contentious. According to insider information, several distributors had negotiations about the Nizam area rights. When it was initially announced that renowned distributor dil raju would be releasing this movie, another significant distribution company, Asian Film, entered the scene.

Everyone believed that the agreement between Anil sunkara and the distributors, for a sum of 12 crores, was practically complete. However, all of a sudden, the cost of Asian films began to drop, and conversations resurfaced for sums of 8/9/10 crores, respectively. Last but not least, Asian films estimated that Agent Picture would cost 7 crores, which enraged producer Anil sunkara greatly. After some time of subsequent discussions with Mythri movie Makers, which were unsuccessful, Anil sunkara is eventually distributing the movie independently through dil raju on a commission basis.

After lengthy conversations and negotiations, producer Anil sunkara intended to sell the film outright but was dissatisfied with the low amounts that the distributors were offering.
