The show caters to a specific audience, namely gamers; for everyone else, it would be a tedious experience. The show loses out on the majority of the audience, which is the largest negative. If the show is neither engaging or enjoyable, why should non-gamers watch it? Additionally, it's not entirely apparent what the show's creators were trying to say.

The only thing the characters do constantly, no matter where they are, is play the game. One of the characters in the show, who happens to be a pilot, also plays the game while at work. No one questions or keeps an eye on the other characters as they continue to play the game in their office. The bulk of the audience would therefore find the show to be over the top.

A character would eventually come to the realisation that the game is negatively affecting his personal life. This is expected, of course, given the show's premise. Even though it is still a routine component, it may have had a significant effect; nevertheless, the subpar execution prevented that. Emotional intelligence is severely lacking.

In one of the online gaming-related episodes of the television show Guilty Minds, a teenager kills someone out of over-obsession with the game. Even individuals who are unfamiliar with or uninterested in such online games would get captivated because it discussed the negative consequences of video games. It should have had something like this to draw in non-gamers as well.
