In a surprising move, director parasuram, whose previous works include geetha govindam and Sarkarvu Vaari Paata, has begun production on a new film starring Sita Ramam actors Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Devarakonda. Currently, there are numerous theories around this movie, tentatively titled #VD13, ranging from its conception through its production.

The first rumor to ever surround this dil Raju-produced project is that parasuram has broken his promise to producer Allu Arvind, who previously gave him back-to-back films like Allu Sirish's Srirastu Subhamastu and Vijay Devarakonda's geetha Govindam. There are enough rumors that even Allu Arvind wanted to host a news conference and inform the media of them, but that plan was abruptly abandoned. In addition, it has been reported that dil raju and Allu Arvind have a falling out as a result of the setup of VD and Parasuram.

Following that, information regarding the 14 Reels banner surfaced because it is said that the producers had requested the filmmaker parasuram refund the advance. According to the claim, the filmmaker must forfeit around 14 crores in exchange for the 6 crore advance he accepted years ago. Then the story of the heroine starts to circulate. It is said that Vijay D insisted that they use rashmika mandanna as the lead actress, but the director later had a falling out with Raju and the protagonist over it and ultimately locked Mrunal Thakur.

Another major story that is now circulating is that parasuram has forced Vijay devarakonda to postpone his #VD12 film, which is being produced by naga vamsi of sithara Entertainment and directed by jersey celebrity Gowtham Tinnanuri. Although the veracity of this report has not yet been established, others claim that it may not be a problem because vamsi consistently regards dil raju as his "guru" figure in the film industry and maintains tight relationships with him.

Many people are questioning why there are so many rumours about parasuram and his newest movie considering the director hasn't yet produced a ground-breaking or all-Indian movie like rrr or Pushpa.
