The new film "Selfish," starring the young hero ashish, who made his acting debut in "Rowdy Boys," is expected to amuse the audience. The movie is produced by sukumar Writings, dil Raju, and Shirish's Sri Venkateswara Creations and is directed by first-timer kasi Vishal. The intriguing rumour is that the movie's original pick for the female role was the youthful star sree Leela. But she was forced to turn down dil Daju's offer.

Soon after Pelli SandaD's popularity, dil raju offered sree Leela the movie. She could not, however, set dates for this picture because she had already committed to Dhamaka and a few other films. Then, dil raju made the decision to have Ivana, a popular star of love Today, to date Ashish. Ivana, who rose to fame with the success of the tamil movie "Love Today," will make her telugu cinema debut in the character of Chaitra, a financial analyst.

According to the already-released posters, ashish plays a popular character renowned for his wild attitude in the movie, which promises to be a youthful populist entertainment. The setting of "Selfish" is Hyderabad's historic old city, and ashish plays a stereotypical selfish old-city person in the narrative. Co-producers for the movie include Harshith Reddy, Hanshitha Reddy, and ashok Bandreddy in addition to the principal producers. Mickey J. Meyer wrote the movie's score.
