Rashmika Mandanna opened up about her viral deepfake video just hours after alia bhatt became a victim of the same. The South indian actress was promoting her upcoming film, Animal, with ranbir kapoor in hyderabad. She was asked about the incident and amitabh Bachchan’s support when rashmika confessed she was worried that no one might care. However, after amitabh backed her, she got the courage to stand up for herself and revolt against this.

Rashmika said, “Firstly when I saw the deepfake video, I was very scared and worried seeing all of this happening. I thought I would not get any support from the team. The first person to support me was amitabh Bachchan. Eventually more people came forward to support.” She added that intially it did affect her. Such videos are not supposed to be normal and decided to react.

“It made me feel secure,” she said, speaking about putting her foot down and taking an action. “I want to tell all the girls out there that this is not normal. You don’t have to keep quiet when something is affecting you. You can take support, you can react and people will support you. It’s a good country that we live in,” rashmika added.

Her comment comes just hours after a deepfake video of alia bhatt has gone viral online. In the video, alia Bhatt’s face is edited over a different lady and the latter can be seen sitting on the bed. The video features a girl wearing a blue floral, strapy co-ord set featuring Alia’s face, while she makes gestures towards the camera. alia is yet to react to it.
