Recently, Ranveer acknowledged the love he got for playing the punjabi character rocky and linked it to kareena kapoor Khan's character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham Ki Poo.

Ranveer Singh has humorously described the character of rocky as a direct descendant of kareena kapoor Khan's iconic character Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Along with this, he also acknowledged the inclusion of his character's mannerisms in colloquial language, demonstrating his character's influence and popularity.

The actor joined in for a conversation at the red Sea international Film Festival. During this, he talked in detail about his character rocky Randhawa in the love story of rocky and Rani. Along with this, he expressed gratitude to everyone for the love received by the film. Ranveer started this conversation by quoting filmmaker karan johar as a direct descendant of Poo. He said that its aim is not only to entertain but also to connect with the audience on a deeper level.

Ranveer Singh has described his character rocky as one of his favorite characters. He said, 'I'm very happy with the way people have associated with rocky, the little Rocky-isms that have come into use in colloquialism, that's when you know a character is liked.'
