When it comes to Sankranthi 2024 releases, there is widespread speculation that one little film is being repressed while other major films are receiving strong backing from a select teams. While many who support little films believe that 'biggies' are doing a disservice to the picture, here's another perspective from a producer whose film is in the running for distribution.

On the margins of a recent event, this producer is heard saying, "When this tiny film is in trouble, everyone raises their voice and dictates reasoning. But when Salaar shattered all of our release preparations, no one dared to speak up. We have lost a significant amount of money in interest payments to loan sharks as a result of many postponements. Those who talk about honesty and ethics should have spoken up during the Salaar delay as well."

Not stopping there, the producer said, "Fortunately, we now have cinemas, but all of those theatres will not contribute to large collections until the picture becomes a blockbuster. We, too, have difficulty running here." That is only another angle to consider. Let's see. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
