"Hanuman," directed by prashant Varma, faced the challenge of a limited theatre release on Sankranti, opting for premieres a day before its official launch. Despite the initial risks, the film garnered significant recognition and positive feedback through the premieres, not only in the telugu states but also in North india and other language markets.
The film's collections grew in tandem with the positive word of mouth. Premieres alone contributed around 2.5 crore shares, and on its first official day of release, "Hanuman" set new records at the box office. Notably, the film achieved a share collection of 3.66 crores in the Nizam area and received solid collections in regions like Guntur, Krishna, and Uttarandhra. In andhra pradesh and telangana combined, the film secured a share collection of approximately 7.97 crores.

Despite a modest morning theatre count, the number of screens increased later in the day. In Karnataka, the film achieved a share collection exceeding one crore, drawing audiences with evening shows due to positive word of mouth. In hindi and other states, the first-day share collections were reported to be over one crore.

Internationally, "Hanuman" achieved a share collection of around 3.55 crores, contributing to a global first-day gross of over 13.77 million and a total box office business of 24 crores. The film's overall theatrical target is set at 31 crores, and with the ongoing positive momentum, it is anticipated to reach and potentially surpass this figure by the weekend. The film's North indian collections remain a point of interest as it continues its successful run at the box office.
