Previously in 2018, tollywood actor mahesh babu made a grand debut in the multiplex business by collaborating with Asian Groups to open AMB Cinemas at Gachibowli in Hyderabad. Now, the actor is making headlines again as he prepares to open his second theatre in the city. As per reports, mahesh babu is gearing up to make a significant investment in rtc Crossroads. He will once again collaborate with Asian Cinemas to launch AMB Classic, an upscale multiplex under the AMB Cinemas brand. The new seven-screen cinema hall will be situated at rtc Cross Roads, the same place where the iconic Sudharsan 70 MM theatre (which shut down in 2010) once stood.

The renovated complex is said to offer more than just movie theatres; there will also be a shopping centre. Additionally, reports suggest that mahesh babu is planning to start AMB Cinemas in vizag as well.

On the work front, mahesh babu was recently seen in the Telugu-language action drama film guntur Kaaram, written and directed by trivikram Srinivas. Produced by S. Radha krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations, the movie features mahesh babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, ramya krishna, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, sunil and rao ramesh in lead roles. Released worldwide on january 12, 2024, coinciding with Sankranti, guntur Kaaram received mixed reviews from critics.
