The director Maruthi made his feature film debut with a microbudgeted movie that was truly made on a tiny budget. The filmmaker engaged with the media on the eve of his "Eerojullo" film's rerelease in cinemas and made some thought-provoking remarks on modern movie budgets.

At the time, it was reported that Maruthi and his group spent over ₹30+ lakhs on the production of Eerojullo, earning crores of rupees in box office revenue. However, it has now been reported that Maruthi, the director of Prabhas' Rajasaab, recently spent close to ₹4 crores on the film's 4-day production expenditure. "I would have made 2-3 films in this budget, or a film in a single day's budget, if it weren't for Prabhas' film," declares Maruthi. In light of this, Maruthi disclosed the approximate amount of Rajasaab's tentative budget.

Maruthi said that when the kalki 2898 AD hungama was ended, they would begin promoting Rajasaab. There won't be any developments from the Prabhas-Maruthi film until then. Maruthi said that when the kalki 2898 AD hungama was ended, they would begin promoting Rajasaab.
