According to a report in Republic, boney kapoor said in one of his interviews that 'We are getting many offers for the sequel of Mr. India. A hollywood studio has given us a big offer. You all may get to hear more about this sequel in a year or two.
Said- 'Many people do not want me to make this film'
He further said that my crew members feel that this film should not be made because now Sridevi, amrish puri and Satish kaushik have passed away. But I have made some other plans regarding this film.

But anil kapoor is angry about the casting of the film, in an interview given to Zoom, boney kapoor told that 'Anil Kapoor wanted to be a part of this film but there was no space.
