During a conversation on Zoom, Aruna Irani said that she and Kuku kohli hated each other initially. Narrating her love story, she said, “I met Kukuji during the chaos. I was doing a lot of films then to run my household but they were not very good roles.
I was very busy with my films in Madras. At that time Kukuji asked me for my dates for a month, I tried for a few days and told him that I could not do the film. Kukuji got angry after hearing this. But we kept working. So even when I had no work but was given dates, he would call me and I would get very angry.
How do Aruna and Kuku fall in love with each other?
Aruna further said, “Sometimes he would keep me sitting for the whole day and then take a shot, hence there would be a fight between us. I hated Kukuji and he too had a problem with me. Then I don't know what happened, he started softening and we became friends. Then he started adjusting my dates. And finally, love happened."
