Hansal Mehta wrote on his X handle, "Namaste air India. Yesterday my AI. The flight from mumbai was fine but when it comes to AI, my suitcase was either opened or tampered with. There was a sticky yellow chemical on the clothes. It seemed that I was not carrying anything perishable in the bag.

Air india responded to the inconvenience caused to Hansal. The company responded to Hansal's post and wrote, "Dear hansal mehta, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Your response is important for our investigation. Please, give us some time to investigate this matter. Please have your patience."
