Kapil Sharma recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from the show, shedding light on how he missed out on an opportunity to collaborate with AR rahman for the movie.

In the BTS clip, Kapil revealed that he missed a call from AR Rahman, who composed the film's music, as he was overseas. Recounting the incident, Kapil shared, "I met rahman sir one day, and he mentioned, 'I called you for Chamkila.' I believe he wanted me to sing a song or something. I thought he was just being kind to me."
Imtiaz intervened, admitting that rahman had mentioned Kapil's singing skills to him. Kapil continued, "He mentioned this to me seriously. I told him, 'Sir, we were overseas, which is why we couldn't connect." Reflecting on missing the chance to collaborate with AR Rahman, Kapil humorously said, "I felt really bad; I cried the whole night. It was unfortunate."
Imtiaz added, "But rahman sir mentioned that if Diljit couldn't do this film, we had only one other choice, which was you."
Kapil Sharma has showcased his acting skills in films like "Zwigato" and the recent "Crew." He is renowned for his melodious voice and has even released a music video titled "Alone" with Guru Randhawa.
