Raashii Khanna: Brother gave such a surprise by getting drenched in the rain. The festival of Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated across the country today. On this festival of Rakhi, actress Raashii Khanna has shared some memories related to her brother and Raksha BandhanRaksha Bandhan is not just a thread. It is a feeling tied in the relationship of brother and sister, which time, distance, or circumstances can never reduce. For actress Raashii Khanna, too, this festival is not just a tradition, but a treasure of the sweetest moments of her life.

Raashii narrated an anecdote from her childhood. She said, 'I will always remember one Rakhi. When my brother Raunak surprised me. We were both in school, and he had to go for soccer practice that day. I was very happy that it was Rakhi, but he left in a hurry. I became sad. Half an hour later, he returned, completely drenched in the rain, with flowers and a small gift in his hand, which was also broken while coming. He told me, 'First your Rakhi, then soccer practice.' That moment will always be precious for me.'

For Rashi, her brother is not just a close friend but also her inspiration. She said, 'When I was in school and he was doing his professional course, I told him that I should also do a course so that I can help at home. He refused and told me that he did this course so that I could study further, go to college, and live the life that he could not live. It was a very selfless act and even today I feel very proud of him.'

For them, this festival is not just a day to tie Rakhi but a celebration of emotions. Rashi says, 'This day is to celebrate our relationship. Even if cities change, age increases, our relationship will always remain the same. It is a relationship that is a little teasing and a little quiet.'

Rashi recalls when her brother was in the Merchant Navy and was travelling at sea. She said, 'At that time, there were no phones, so I wrote him an email. That day, I remembered how strong our relationship is. Even though he was far away, he surprised me by sending flowers.'

If she had to express her feelings to her brother in a letter without saying anything, she would write, 'I am very proud that he is my brother. I am very luckyHe is like a second father to me, who always guides and understands my emotions without saying anything. I would just tell him, 'I love you very much, I am proud of you, and I am even more proud that you are my brother.'
