In a recent interview with The Times of india (TOI), kalyani opened up about the most valuable thing she inherited from her father, filmmaker Priyadarshan.
She shared that the “work ethic and professionalism” she possesses come directly from observing her father’s dedication throughout his career.
Kalyani said:
“I’ve always said that what I’ve inherited from my father is his work ethic and professionalism. I’ve seen him work my entire life. Even now, when he doesn’t really have to, he still works tirelessly.”
She added that despite his age and health issues, priyadarshan continues to push himself to ensure the best possible output during every shoot.
Her Father’s Influence on Her Career
Kalyani expressed deep admiration for her father’s discipline and passion for filmmaking.
She emphasized that his commitment to work became a part of her personality as well.
