Russia-Ukraine war: indian citizens are being sent by bus??

Although the government of india has helped in the evacuation of hundreds of students by running 'Operation Ganga', now the indian Embassy has made a plan to evacuate the indian people from the bottleneck of the closed roads. According to this, indian citizens trapped in Odessa (Ukraine) will be evacuated from romania via Moldova.


The indian Embassy in romania has coordinated with the authorities of Moldova. In such a situation, it is organizing the movement of indian citizens trapped in Odessa (Ukraine) to Bucharest (Romania) via Moldova. Since the airspace in moldova is closed, indian citizens are being sent to Bucharest by bus.


The embassy is evacuating for buses on two routes. Several buses have been sent for those who are crossing the Palanka border (Ukraine-Moldova). They are being sent directly to romania without stopping in Moldova. Other buses have been sent for those in camps in and around the Moldovan capital Chisinau. These bus services are being provided free of cost.


250 students have arrived in Romania

According to the information, since march 1, about 250 students have come to Romania. All of them have been sent directly to romania (Bucharest) through the border in buses arranged by the embassy. About 80-100 citizens are still left in and around the capital of moldova, Chisinau. Most are being sent by bus on march 2. indian Embassy in Bucharest is helping indian nationals with flights under Operation Ganga. The Embassy, in coordination with the Romanian authorities, has ensured that no visa is required to exit romania via special flights.
