She claimed that the man didn't get up from her seat until another passenger urged him to. She claimed that after reporting the event to the crew right away, one of them went to her seat and "confirmed that it smelled like pee" before spraying disinfectant on her luggage and shoes.

According to the report, the elderly passenger refused to go back to her stench- and soiled-filled seat for about 20 minutes, so she changed into a set of pyjamas and disposable shoes that the crew provided for her. Before being requested to move back to her own seat, she spent an hour sitting on the cramped crew seat. Later, she was transferred to another crew seat to finish the flight. According to the report, the woman discovered that several of the first class seats on the trip were empty from a fellow traveller.
