Let's know the 10 big things of the UP government's budget.Part 1...
1. Most focused on infrastructure, announcements for metro-airport
In the budget of the UP government, maximum attention has been given to increase the infrastructure to accelerate the economy. A budget of Rs 100 crore has been kept for running metro trains in varanasi and Gorakhpur. An arrangement of Rs 235 crore has been made for the Jhansi-Chitrakoot Link Expressway.
Rs 200 crore has also been given for the Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
There is a provision of Rs 150 crore for running ropeways in varanasi and other cities. A plan has been made to give Rs 585 crore for the kanpur Metro project. The government has also kept a budget of Rs 465 crore for the agra Metro rail Project. Rs 1306 crore has been given for the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. It has also been decided to make 5 runways at Jewar airport instead of 2 runways proposed so far.
A budget of Rs 550 crore has been kept for the construction of Bundelkhand Expressway and Defense Corridor. The government has also made a provision of Rs 1000 crore in the budget for the routes related to religious places.
