Constant attacker on the Modi government?...

From london itself, rahul gandhi is a constant attacker on the Modi government of India. While addressing the MPs in the british parliament in london on Monday, rahul gandhi took a jibe at the Modi government and said that in our parliament only the mikes of the opposition leaders are turned off. Earlier, he had said in a conversation with indian expatriates that the leader of india can speak at Cambridge and Harvard but he cannot speak at any university in India.

Indian-origin mp Virendra Sharma of the opposition Labor party organized a program in the Grand Committee Room of the house of Commons. In this program, rahul gandhi also shared the experiences of Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. rahul gandhi termed this yatra as a deep political exercise to unite the people. In a lighter vein, rahul gandhi used a faulty mic in the room to make his point, which he termed as the 'repression' of the opposition in India.

'Our mics don't go bad, they just get switched off'

Responding to a question on his experience of being a politician in india, Gandhi, the 52-year-old mp from Wayanad, told british MPs, "Our mics are not bad, they are working but still you cannot switch them on." This has happened many times during my speaking (in Parliament). "We were not permitted to discuss demonetisation, which was disastrous financial decision," the former president of the Congress alleged. We were not allowed to discuss GST. We were not allowed to discuss the issue of Chinese troops entering indian territory.
