On thursday night, a massive fire that started in a multi-story structure in secunderabad claimed the lives of six individuals, according to officials. There are four ladies among the dead. Firefighters managed to save seven more people. Amoy Kumar, the hyderabad District Collector, claimed that the smoke caused the victims to suffocate and pass away. All of the deceased, who were reportedly in their 20s, passed away at gandhi Hospital. They claimed to be workers of a company based out of the building and came from the Warangal, Mahabubabad, and khammam districts.

Firefighters battled for four hours to put out the blaze that started on the third floor of the Swapnalok Complex and quickly spread to the higher floors of the eight-story business structure. According to officials, rescue efforts are still ongoing because the smoke has not yet dispersed. Ten fire fighters arrived quickly and got to work putting out the flames. Massive flames bursting from the structure startled nearby residents. Authorities ordered occupants of neighbouring buildings to leave.

Locals claim that the fire started between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. Unknown was the fire's origin. T. srinivas Yadav, a state minister, arrived quickly and was keeping an eye on the rescue and relief efforts.
