In a significant effort to assist tribal farmers in the state with agricultural investment, the telangana government decided to grant Rythu Bandu aid to podu land farmers on Tuesday. At a high-level review meeting conducted at the BR Ambedkar telangana state secretariat here, state chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao gave instructions to staff members to speed up the issue of pattas for podu lands for tribal farmers and schedule the patta distribution from june 24 to 30.

According to a press release, the chief minister made it clear that he will personally begin and supervise the patta distribution scheme. The list of tribal farmers who have received Rythu Bandhu through the RoFR will be updated to include the names of the new beneficiaries who have received pattas for podu land.

It went on to say that the help that would be given to them would be equivalent to what has already been given to others under Rythu Bandu. The chief minister said that in order to ensure that the recipients get the help directly and without the involvement of any third parties, the government will open bank accounts in their names.

He requested that the information on the new beneficiaries be sent to the proper officials so that bank accounts may be opened as soon as possible from Tribal Welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod.
