Shravani Baswaraju, a 27-year-old M.Sc. (Management) student at Bloomsbury Institute in London, passed away on Monday, apparently by suicide. Her family in Pochammamaidan in warangal were shocked to learn of her passing. nri Forum-UK President sridhar Neela claims that Shravani is thought to have hung herself as a result of financial issues. According to reports, she was having trouble paying her university tuition and repaying her indian bank loan. Her mother Vijaya worked as a housewife, while her father Ramesh Baswaraju drove a truck.
The fact that the family is unable to pay for the body of Shravani to be sent home just adds to their misery. The nri Forum, UK, has started an online fundraising effort to pay for the expenditures because it has no other way to cover them. To support Shravani's family financially during this trying period, the Forum has so far contributed Rs. 30 lakh.

Bharath Baswaraju, Shravani's brother, stated that her corpse was anticipated to arrive at Hyderabad's rajiv gandhi International airport on thursday around 10 a.m. Compounding the family's distress is the inability to afford the repatriation of Shravani's body back home. According to sridhar Neela, nri Forum-UK president, Shravani is suspected to have hanged herself due to financial difficulties. She was reportedly struggling to meet her university fees and repay her bank loan from India. Her father Ramesh Baswaraju was a lorry driver while her mother, Vijaya was a homemaker.
