Just like tamil Nadu government, telangana government has granted permission for movie and television shootings in the state. telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao reportedly signed an executive order regarding the same. The government asked the filmmakers to shoot with limited number of staff and taking all necessary precautions. The decision has come after a series of meetings between the government and the industry biggies.
The complete norms are to be announced on in the official G.O. However, the movie theaters are expected to remain closed since the central government has prohibited them.
This has come a day before tollywood biggies are meeting andhra pradesh chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy. andhra pradesh government is also likely to allow the shootings now. Earlier, maharashtra and kerala Governments also allowed the shootings but the filmmakers there are still doubtful about starting them given the cases are increasing.
