If there has been one allegation against the TDP boss and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu by his rivals, then it is the bad record of monsoon success during his tenure. This was also the main reason why he lost out on elections earlier.
This was always highlighted by his rivals and it was the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who exploited it the most followed by his son now Jagan who never leaves any chance to slander Naidu about his presence shooing away rain gods.
But at the same time, rationalists feel rains are only an atmospheric phenomenon and this time once Naidu became CM, again monsoon played truant which Jagan’s party YSRCP immediately seized to malign Babu.
However now that rains have finally arrived, sources say that some of Jagan’s party leaders are upset and may be even worried what if monsoon turns successful and takes away a strong weapon from their hands.
