For the first time in indian history, during voting, health workers were also made to sit compulsory inside the polling booth. The health Department has sent sanitizers, gloves, thermal scanners to all the polling booths and has instructed the workers to ensure this voting happens with complete safety. Voters who don't wear masks are sent back or asked to get a new one from nearby shops.
If the Temperature is above 98.5F while being checked in Thermal Scanner the voters are being sent back and they are asked to come after 6 pm as special protection will be done for them. A token will be given to them and they can come after 6 pm to cast their votes. This year the timings have been increased due to the rapid rise in Corona.
