Congress mp rahul gandhi has accused twitter of attacking India's democracy and interfering in our political activities. rahul gandhi posted a photo on twitter of him meeting the parents of a girl who was raped in Delhi. Allegations arose that the photo was in violation of Twitter's rules, against children's rights, and against the Poksho Act.

Following this, rahul gandhi deleted the photo from his twitter account. Following that, his twitter account was shut down. The twitter accounts of senior congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjewala, ajay McCann, Jitendra Singh, Manik Tagore, and Sushmita Dev were also blocked. The official twitter account of the congress party has also been disabled for allegedly violating the rules.

In this situation, the congress MP. rahul gandhi has posted a video on YouTube titled "Dangerous Game of Twitter". In it he stated:

The twitter company has interfered in our political process by disabling my twitter account. A company defines our politics for doing its business, and as a political leader, I don’t like this. I see this as an attack on the indian democratic structure.

We indians are listening. Do we allow companies to define politics for us because companies are tied to the federal government? So what's coming up? Or are we going to define politics for ourselves?

It cannot be said that the deactivation of the twitter account was an attack on rahul gandhi and cannot be easily overlooked. We have 2 crore followers on twitter and their freedom of expression has been denied. Not only is this completely unfair, but the company also violates the notion that twitter is neutral.
