The tamil Nadu government told the madras high court on wednesday that it has decided not to halt traffic while a convoy of VIPs, including the chief minister, passes by.

Justice N anand venkatesh received this information from State Public Prosecutor Hassan Mohammad Jinnah. He praised the State home Secretary for acting quickly to relieve traffic congestion during VIP visits to public venues.

Earlier, the judge had criticized the police for failing to make any arrangements to allow the judges to pass without difficulty, citing their actions in erecting barricades and stopping all vehicles, including their vehicles.

Due to the suspension of the judge's automobile, the court's business began late on october 1. Due to the 93rd birth anniversary of late film legend Sivaji Ganesan, which was visited by chief minister MK stalin and other ministers, police had made special arrangements, prohibiting vehicular traffic near his memorial at RA Puram.

For around 30 minutes, the judge's vehicle came to a halt as well. The judge claimed that this occurred despite his assistant contacting the concerned police officers ahead of time.

Home Secretary SK prabhakar appeared through video conference after being summoned in the matter and expressed sorry for the unfortunate situation. He also informed the judge that measures will be made to prevent a repeat of the situation. As a result, the decision was made not to stop the traffic, and the judge was notified today.
