Omicron infection started invading tamil Nadu?

In tamil Nadu, 57 samples of those diagnosed with Omicron were sent for testing. minister Ma Subramaniam and health Secretary Radhakrishnan met reporters in chennai to discuss the results of these samples. At the time, 33 out of the 57 samples sent for testing were confirmed to have an Omicron infection. Sample results of 24 more are expected soon.
Studies show that the Omicron variant is about 70 times faster than the delta and the original Covid-19 variant. However, a study by the university of hong kong found that the severity of the disease was much lower.
The speed of Omicron diffusion in the human trachea was detected 24 hours after infection. The study, which claims that Omicron can spread rapidly from one person to another but does not damage lung tissue as it did in previous transformations, is currently under review in a scientific journal.
Countries around the world have acted with caution, setting up travel bans amid widespread fears that Omicron could trigger a new upsurge in infections and increase the need for hospitals. Although Omicron is less virulent, it warns that its spread to wildfires could pose a challenge to health facilities around the world.
