Under this, now the rural and outer police stations of lucknow and varanasi along with kanpur Outer will be removed from the separate outer police system and added to the commissionerate. According to the report, a complete blueprint has been prepared to implement this decision. The special thing is that after this decision, kanpur Commissionerate will be the biggest police commissionerate of the state.
According to the information, the proposal brought by the officials was approved in the cabinet. After this new decision, now 14 police stations of kanpur Outer will also be included in the police Commissionerate. With this, the kanpur police Commissionerate will become the largest police commissionerate of the state. Let us tell you that on march 25, 2021, the police Commissionerate was formed in kanpur metropolis, after which 34 police stations came under the commissionerate. At the same time, four new police stations were formed, due to which the total number of police stations increased to 38.
Apart from this, a separate police system was implemented for the police stations in rural areas, which was named kanpur Outer. Separate SPs were deployed for this, but now these 14 police stations will also be included in kanpur Commissionerate by abolishing the outer system. After this change, the number of police stations in kanpur will increase to 52. With this, it has become the biggest police commissionerate of UP.
