A record-breaking number of students are interested in attending schools and universities across the USA, driving up demand for US student visas. In relation to the subject, there was a surge in demand for the US student visa interview slots that were made available at the consulates in hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, delhi, and mumbai for the Autumn intake. Particularly, the interview times for student visas at the consulates in hyderabad and delhi were filled in just three to four hours.
The five US consulates in india apparently announced a large number of interview slots for the month of June, and all of the slots in hyderabad and delhi were rapidly filled in contrast to the other three locations, where there are still openings. According to rumors, more interview slots might become available towards the end of this month or the beginning of the following one. Interviews for visas are not required for those who currently have a tourist visa and want to apply for a student visa.
