With all preparations complete, the eagerly awaited district-level cm Cup event will begin on May 22. The three-day competition, which will take place at jawaharlal nehru Stadium, seeks to identify and aid gifted athletes from both urban and rural locations. This massive sporting spectacle will include over 1700 athletes from all of the district's mandals. Several management committees headed by district Collector Sikta Patnaik have been constituted to guarantee efficient implementation.

These committees will be in charge of overseeing important things including welcoming, opening and closing ceremonies, food management, cleanliness, medical services, and cultural programmes. Members of sports associations, coaches, athletes, and physical education instructors make up the sports management and selection committee.

To guarantee the participants' safety during the summer, precautionary precautions have been put in place. As stated by Ashok, the district sports and youth Officer (DYSO), the games would be performed in accordance with the timetable, guaranteeing fairness in the selection process for district teams.

Special sports gear will be provided to athletes representing the district in the next state-level cm Cup competition in Hyderabad, which begins on May 28. At the main entrance, signboards identifying the appropriate sports venues will be put up for easier navigation. When they arrive, coaches and managers must give the welcome committee admission paperwork and their Aadhaar cards. Participation is required to provide valid identification. Each day's games will start at 7 a.m.
