Vande Bharat Express trains are being started rapidly in the country. people are liking these high-speed trains that provide the facility of travel in less time, but all the seats of Vande Bharat trains are filling up, but that is not the case. Vande Bharat trains which are being run between short distances, their seats are not filled due to higher fares. Passengers prefer other trains. Given this, indian Railways is considering giving good news to rail passengers by reducing the fares of many Vande Bharat Expresses running between short distances. Railway officials have said that the process of reducing the fares of many short-distance Vande Bharat trains is underway. Fares of Vande Bharat trains on Indore-Bhopal, Bhopal-Jabalpur, Nagpur-Bilaspur, and some other routes are being reviewed. It will be reduced so that more passengers can be attracted towards these trains.
Only 29 percent of seats on the Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat train were filled. The Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat train covers the distance between the two cities in just three hours. Only 32 percent seats of Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express were filled. These trains are running empty due to higher fares, due to which fare reduction is being considered.
Presently the AC chair car fare of Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat train is Rs 950 and the executive chair car fare is Rs 1525. Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express executive class fare is Rs 2,045 and chair car fare is Rs 1,075. The fare of Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express is Rs 1880 for the executive class and Rs 1055 for the AC chair. In fact, the Railway Board has held a meeting regarding the Vande Bharat train fare in the past few days. It has been agreed that the prices of Vande Bharat services lasting three to five hours will be reduced. According to railway officials, most Vande Bharat trains are 100 percent full, but this is not the case in short-distance trains.
