Traffic restrictions were issued by the hyderabad Traffic police in anticipation of the "Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu" Jatara in secunderabad on sunday and Monday. The general public was requested to avoid the roads and junctions of Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj, Old PS Ramgopalpet, Paradise, CTO, Plaza, sbi X Road, YMCA, X Roads, St. Johns Rotary, Sangeeth X Road, Patny X Road, Park lane, Bata, Ghasmandi X Roads, bible House, Minister's Road, Rasoolpura, from saturday midnight till the completion of the festivities on Monday.

The general public who planned to travel by train from the secunderabad railway station was urged to leave early in order to get at the station on time. When entering secunderabad Railway Station from Platform No. 1 side, traffic would be backed up. To enter the station from the Chilkalguda side, utilise Platform No. 10 at secunderabad Railway Station. Within a 2 km radius of the Sri ujjaini Mahankali temple in secunderabad, there will be heavy traffic.

All vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the stretch heading from Tobacco Bazar, Hill Street to Mahankali Temple. Similar to this, all vehicular travel on the Subash Road in secunderabad from Bata X roads up to old Ramgopalpet PS would be prohibited. All vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the route heading from Audaiah X Roads secunderabad to the Mahankali Temple. Additionally, all vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the route that leads from General Bazaar in secunderabad to the Mahankali Temple.
