MNM intensifies preparations for lok sabha elections...


Along with the national parties of the country, regional parties have also stepped up preparations for the upcoming lok sabha elections. The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party of actor-turned-politician kamal haasan is also named during this period. The MNM party has identified 12 possible lok sabha seats for the lok sabha elections to be held next year from where Kamal Haasan's party will be in the fray.

Kamal Haasan's MNM party is also running a campaign in tamil Nadu as part of its election strategy for the 2024 elections. Under the campaign named 'Makkalodu Maim', the party is engaged in getting to know the voters by coming face to face with their issues. MNM party is running door-to-door campaign to contact people through this campaign.

 MNM leader kamal haasan launched this campaign in coimbatore South assembly constituency of tamil Nadu. This is the same assembly constituency from where kamal haasan had to face defeat in the last state election by only 1% votes at the hands of the bjp candidate. According to the Times of india website, this door-to-door campaign of Kamal Haasan's party will pass through all the 234 constituencies of the state. Through this, the party will take opinion from the people on the issues of the state and the issues that need to be resolved can be included in its manifesto for the 2024 lok sabha elections.

People's support for the party in the elections

According to sources, Kamal Haasan's MNM party will soon appoint ward in-charges for coimbatore and madurai in tamil Nadu, while work is also underway on the appointment of booth committee members for the 2026 assembly elections. Let us inform that Kamal Haasan's party had contested on 37 seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections, out of which the party was successful in securing the third position on 13. While Kamal Haasan's party finished third in the 2021 assembly elections winning 25 out of 180 seats, ending the 10-year rule of the AIADMK.
