He recalled that earlier administrations had only invited 40 or 50 clergymen and community leaders to christmas celebrations. At the United Pastors Family christmas Service, which was held on saturday evening at a private school in Dharavi, mumbai, and was coordinated by the mumbai Telugu Pastors Fellowship, around 300 pastors and members of their families prayed for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's (BRS) victory. They asked the Christian community to assist K Chandrashekhar Rao, chief minister of the BRS, in his efforts to advance India's economic development.
