Once more, Hyderabad's rajiv gandhi International airport (RGIA) saw the largest freight jet in the world, the Airbus Beluga, touch down. On Thursday, July 31, the unique Airbus Beluga in the shape of a whale touched down at the airport in Hyderabad. For the big aircraft's landing, parking, and takeoff, the RGIA airport established additional provisions. 

'Whale of the Sky' is now residing in hyderabad for the second time. The aircraft reportedly came to a stop to refuel. The Beluga whale-shaped aircraft is well-known for its capacity to move large airborne cargo. The biggest freight aircraft in the world, the Antonov AN 225, made its inaugural landing in india at rajiv gandhi International airport in hyderabad in May 2016.

By asking the Union Ministry of defensive to permit use of the defensive airport at Hakimpet for civil aviation, the telangana government on July 31 planned to build a second airport in Hyderabad. After the cabinet meeting, state IT, industries and Commerce minister KT Rama Rao informed reporters that the Hakimpet station might operate on a hybrid model similar to those in pune and Goa, where the airports are utilised for both civil and military aircraft.
