Quick permission to establish a science center..!?

A request has been submitted to the minister to give quick approval to the proposals submitted for setting up science centers in Yadgiri and Raichur district centers of kalyan Karnataka, which are backward districts. Hon'ble Minor Irrigation, Science and technology minister NS Bosaraju said that a proposal for setting up a Category 2, Type B science center in Raichur district for 22.25 crores has been submitted to the central government and the Union minister has promised to approve it soon.

Union Tourism and culture minister G. Kishan Reddy, Union Chemicals and Fertilizers minister Bhagwant Khuba, and departmental secretaries met in New delhi on thursday and made a request, and then spoke. The state government has agreed to bear 50% of the required amount for setting up a category-3, type-B science center in Yadgiri district out of a grant of Rs.22.25 crore. Questions such as those raised by the National Council of Science Museum for the establishment of the center have been answered. He said that the state government is ready to provide all necessary assistance for the establishment of the center.

A request was made to the Union minister of Fertilizers and Chemicals to put pressure on the central government to speed up the much-needed AIIMS approval process for Raichur. kalyan met minister representing karnataka Districts Bhagwant Khooba and convinced him about the need for AIIMS in Raichur. This chief minister Siddaramaiah has written a letter to Union health and Family Welfare minister Mansukh Mandavia. The need for AIIMS to treat people in this region has increased.
