According to reports, the steel bridge connecting Indira Park and VST will be officially opened on august 15. After inspecting the bridge on Monday, ghmc Commissioner Ronald Rose said that the 450 crore bridge's construction was finished. The bridge is 2.62 km long and contains 80 spans. The bridge is anticipated to reduce traffic congestion at the intersections of Indira Park, Ashoknagar, and rtc for motorists headed in the direction of Tarnaka, Amberpet, and Osmania University.
"48 projects have been launched as part of the strategic road development programme (SRDP) to improve signal-free travel. 35 of these have been finished," Rose stated. Orders have been given to authorities to hasten the completion of the final 13 tasks. The bridge was inspected by Musheerabad mla Muta Gopal. minister K.T. Rama Rao was planned to inaugurate the bridge in the final week of July, but the ceremony was postponed owing to the nonstop rain.

The bridge, a bi-directional elevated corridor with four lanes, is being constructed as part of the telangana government's Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP). Due to the numerous IT companies in the area, jubilee hills has experienced traffic congestion, therefore the ghmc decided to construct a steel flyover to ease the congestion. It will follow Indira Park, VST Junction, Malakpet, and two of those at Punjagutta as the city's fifth steel bridge.
