The party president Mallikarjuna Kharge has ordered to change the members of the congress Working Committee. The congress Working Committee is the highest decision-making body in the congress party. All india president of the party Mallikarjuna Kharge was given the power to appoint members to the congress Working Committee at a conference held in raipur last February. In this situation, the party president Mallikarjuna Kharge has ordered to change the members of the congress Working Committee. Accordingly, 39 people have been appointed as congress Working Committee members. 32 persons have been appointed as Permanent Conveners and 13 as Special Conveners.


The congress Working Committee consists of Mallikarjuna Kharge, sonia gandhi, rahul Gandhi, priyanka Gandhi, Athir Ranjan Chaudhary, AK Antony, P. chidambaram, Sachin Pilot, KC Venugopal, Sasi Tharoor, ambika Soni, ajay Makan, Jairam Ramesh, abhishek Manu Singhvi, Digvijay Singh, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Mukul Wasnik, Ananda Sharma and 39 others have been appointed as members of the congress Working Committee. Interestingly, members of the new congress Working Committee include Shashi Tharoor, anand sharma and Mukul Wasnik, who were part of a group of 23 leaders who questioned the leadership of the party under sonia Gandhi. manish Tiwari and Veerappa Moily, who were part of the team, have been appointed as permanent invitees.


Former punjab Chief minister Saranjit Singh Sunny and Pradeepa Singh are also part of the panel. Sachin Pilot, who rebelled against the party's government in rajasthan and was subsequently removed as deputy chief minister, has also been appointed as one of the new congress working committee members. As far as tamil Nadu is concerned, only the former Finance minister P. chidambaram has been featured.
