Recently, the high court has come forward to re-examine the property transfer case against minister Ponmudi, and the cases against three ministers will be re-examined. Justice anand venkatesh was selected to re-examine the Ponmudi case by Thangam Tennarasa, K.K.S.S.R. He is also re-investigating the cases. Last week, the case against Ponmudi was heard in the Villupuram court, but the case was transferred to the Vellore court near the end of the trial and the judge said that the trial in this case was the worst he had ever seen. KKSSR Ramachandran, one of DMK's senior ministers, is currently the minister for Revenue and Disaster Management. A case was filed in 2012 that he had accumulated assets in excess of his income during the DMK regime from 2006 to 2011. The case against KKSSR Ramachandran, his wife Adilakshmi, and businessman Shanmugamoorthy was heard by the district Principal court at Srivilliputhur. On July 20, the Srivilliputhur district court ruled that all the three including the minister were to be released as relevant sources of income were filed in this case. Thangam Tennarasu, who is the Finance minister of tamil Nadu, was the school Education minister from 2006 to 2011 when the DMK was in power. In 2012, a case was filed against him and his wife Manimekalai for adding more assets to their income. hile the trial of the case in the Srivilliputhur district Chief criminal court has been going on for almost 10 years, minister Thangam Tennarasu has filed a petition seeking the release of himself and his wife from the case. In this case, on december 13, 2022, Chief criminal court Judge Christopher, Srivilliputtur, gave a verdict freeing minister Thangam Thennarasu and his wife Manimekalai from the case of wealth accumulation.
