The 'hundi' (offering box) at the simhachalam temple of Sri Varahalakshmi narasimha Swamy was filled with a check for Rs 100 crore from a devotee. The temple administrators were astonished to discover that the devotee had just Rs 17 in his account when they submitted the check to the relevant bank.On Thursday, a picture of the check appeared on social media. radhakrishna Boddepalli signed the cheque.
On the kotak mahindra bank cheque, the devotee failed to write the date. The cheque demonstrates that the devotee is a customer of the Visakhapatnam branch of the bank. The cheque was taken to the Executive Officer by the members of the temple body after they discovered it in the Hundi. He spotted a problem and instructed staff to confirm the authenticity of the cheque with the relevant bank branch.

The temple organisation was notified by the bank officials that the person who wrote the check only had Rs. 17 in his account. To identify the contributor, the temple administration plans to write to the bank. According to sources, the bank may be asked to file a case for a bounced cheque against the contributor if he intended to defraud the temple officials.

The devotee's behaviour sparked insightful responses online. While some online commenters said that the guy had provoked God's anger, others suggested that he may have paid god in advance for the response to his prayers. One of the well-known temples in andhra pradesh is the Sri Varahalakshmi narasimha Swamy temple, which is situated atop simhachalam hill in the port city.
