The 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races have been organized with the participation of the police department (Bidar police department) and the public. In the current year, more than 198 people have been reported to have died after riding a bike without a helmet. Thus, a road safety campaign has been launched to make the people of Bidar aware of the importance of helmets and traffic rules. Bidar SP Chennabasavanna Langoti said that private organizations have joined hands with this campaign.
