
BBMP Chief engineer Sivakumar, who was severely injured during the rescue operation in the case of BBMP quality control room, died today due to lack of treatment. cm Sivakumar, Chief engineer of Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department, who was seriously injured in the fire incident at the Quality Control Laboratory of Burhat Bangalore Mahanagara Corporation, was undergoing treatment at Seshadripur Apollo Hospital and died this evening.
Deceased Shivakumar (45) originally hailed from Nanjangud, Mysore. wife Umamaheswari and two daughters Vibha Nidhi shivam (12 years) and Nirvi Neha shivam (10 years). Lab fire case: Clean chit for BBMP staff?
On the last 11th, when a fire broke out in the BBMP control room, more than 10 staff inside the room were seriously injured. Among them, Shivakumar was seriously injured. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital. The engineer, who was undergoing treatment in the hospital for the last eleven days, breathed his last today without responding to the treatment.
