A five-foot-long python that was seen thursday near an apartment in Bachupally's nri Colony caused some minor unrest among the locals. Residents immediately alerted forest officials to the sighting of the python, who then informed the "Friends of Snake Society" (FoSS) members. After arriving at the flat, a volunteer from FoSS successfully caught the snake. 
The snake may have escaped from a nearby lake or sewer after the recent rains, according to locals. According to volunteers, the python will be securely returned to its native home. On thursday, a five-foot-long python was discovered near Sai Elite condominium, which caused panic among the nri Colony's inhabitants in the Nizampet neighbourhood.

The neighbours immediately called the forest officials after spotting the python, who then informed the "Friends of Snake Society" (FoSS) members. After arriving at the flat, a committed volunteer from FoSS successfully trapped the snake. The snake was probably spotted by locals after emerging from a nearby lake or drain after the recent rains, according to the FoSS.
