bihar chief minister nitish kumar reached the secretariat early in the morning on wednesday (September
20). He arrived around 9.30 in the morning. Apart from many officers, even ministers were not found in the
department. cm expressed displeasure on this. Have been asked to come on time. When the officers working
in the secretariat came to know about the arrival of cm nitish kumar, there was panic. Hands and feet
started swelling.
Come three days a week at 9.30
After inspection, nitish kumar came out and talked to the media. He said- We felt that people were coming
late, so we had told yesterday that we would come from today, so we came at 9.30. Check on everyone’s
well being. Now we will again check whether they are coming on time or not. We will arrive at 9.30 three
days a week. Told the media that earlier you people also lived here. If you guys also stay now then there is
no problem.
What did the chief minister say on the Women’s Reservation Bill?
cm nitish kumar said that census was conducted every ten years. The Center should have done it in 2021.
This is not happening. Must always be on time. We have said that caste based census should be conducted.
This is our demand. Said that since the year 2006, women are being given 50 percent reservation in initial
teacher employment and since the year 2016, 35 percent reservation is being given to women in all
government jobs. cm said that since 2013, 35 percent reservation is being given to women in bihar Police
also. There are more women in the police today than anywhere else in the country. women belonging to
backward and extremely backward classes should also get reservation in lok sabha and Assembly.
