The Milad un Nabi parade in the city will take place next month with permission from the hyderabad City Police. hyderabad Police Commissioner CV anand informed the media during a meeting with the Markazi Milad Juloos Committee that permission had been given for the march to take place on october 1. He lauded Hyderabad's ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb and urged all residents to celebrate with the utmost caution, especially the young.

Organizers postponed the procession

Every year on Rabi' al-awwal 12, hyderabad hosts the Milad un Nabi parade. It takes place on september 28 this year. The procession will take place on october 1 due to the date falling on Ganesh Visarjan. This choice was made because having two processions on the same day may present opportunity for miscreants to cause disruptions.

Milad un Nabi procession will pass through many areas in Hyderabad
The Markazi Milad Juloos Committee, made up of representatives from several Sufi orders, dargahs, and religious leaders, has decided that the procession will be held on october 1. The Milad un Nabi procession will start at the Makkah Masjid on the following sunday at noon and travel past several famous landmarks in the city, including the Charminar, gulzar Houz, Pathergatti, Chatta Bazaar, Purani Haveli, Etebar Chowk, and Bibi Bazaar, before coming to an end at Moghalpura just in time for Asr prayers.

Holiday in Telangana
Although the procession is set for october 1, the telangana government has designated september 28 as a holiday in honour of Milad un Nabi. The telangana State Portal Calendar for 2023 lists this day under "General Holidays." Despite the fact that Hyderabad's Milad un Nabi procession has a new date, it is doubtful that the government would alter the holiday because october 1 falls on a Sunday.
