
Reportedly the level of pollution (Delhi air Pollution) increases significantly during winter in Delhi.
Kejriwal government has already started preparations in this regard. Delhi’s Environment
Minister Gopal Rai said on monday (September 25) that to control the increase in pollution

Environment minister Gopal Rai, while talking to the media, said that the government is
trying to make a winter action plan to control the increase in pollution levels in delhi during
winter. About 28 departments of delhi are preparing a winter action plan to submit to the
environment department. The chief minister of delhi will announce this soon.
Rai had written a letter to the Union Environment Minister
Let us tell you that earlier, Gopal Rai had written a letter to Union Environment Minister
Bhupendra Yadav and Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar. In his letter, he
highlighted the problem of air pollution caused by stubble burning in delhi during the winter
season and called for a review meeting with the Union minister to prepare and implement a
meaningful action plan to save the people of Delhi.
In his letter, Gopal Rai had said that, our government wants the central government to
cooperate with the delhi government to successfully implement this year’s Winter Action
Plan. The central government has been requested to hold a review meeting with all the
concerned states on Parali as soon as possible.
