The "Chief Minister's Breakfast scheme," which aims to offer free breakfast to pupils in government schools throughout the State, was given the go-ahead by education minister P. Sabitha indra Reddy on Tuesday. The minister gave them instructions to choose the breakfast menu and prepare the appropriate utensils during a meeting with representatives of the education department. She requested that authorities create responsibilities and guidelines for the programme, which would start with the dasara festival and be available to kids in classes I through X.
Officials were given instructions to make sure the system was implemented without error. She said that the additional collectors would be in charge of overseeing how the plan was being implemented at the district level. telangana will become the second State in the nation to offer free breakfast in schools, according to the Minister. The programme will help a total of 23 lakh pupils across 27,147 schools, according to her.


The meeting was attended by the secretary of the CMO, Smita Sabharwal, the secretary of the education department, Vakati Karuna, the director of school education, A Sridevasena, as well as representatives from Akshaya Patra. This scheme was initially launched by tamil Nadu cm Stalin.
